| This website | Hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA) and delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Both process the technical data of each visit, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages. The fonts come from Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA), which also receives your IP address. There are no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. |
| Buying a licence | Handled by Polar Software, Inc. (USA) as merchant of record: name, e-mail, billing address and payment data go to Polar and its payment provider. We receive your e-mail and order details to provide the licence and support. |
| The plugin | Your recordings, faces, voices and the analysis stay on your computer. On activation and every 14 days the plugin sends the licence key, a one-way hash of the computer's ID, the computer's name, the system and the plugin version to Polar, to check the licence. Updates are downloaded from GitHub. |
| Usage count | Once a day, an installed plugin sends its version, Windows or Mac, whether it runs as trial or licensed, its language and a random number made for this installation to our counter at podcastmagic360.com (Cloudflare). No names, no IP address, no projects or files are stored; the rows are deleted after 400 days. You can switch it off in the plugin under Settings › Privacy. |
| Translated subtitles | Only when you press Translate: the text of the conversation goes to Anthropic, PBC (USA) with your own API key. Nothing else from your recordings leaves your computer. |
| Feedback | The plugin's feedback button only prepares an e-mail in your own mail program, with the screenshots and the log you chose; nothing is sent until you send it. The log can contain file and project names. |
| If you write to us, we keep your message to answer it and delete it when it is no longer needed. | |
| Abroad | GitHub, Cloudflare, Google, Polar and Anthropic are in the USA; they process data under their own privacy terms and the safeguards they provide for transfers from Switzerland and the EU. |
